What We Collect

DRIPSCAN collects the minimum data needed to rate your outfit:

Outfit photos — Sent to our AI for analysis, then immediately discarded from our servers. We do not store your photos.
Score data — Your scores are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to your score history.
Subscription status — Managed by Apple and our paywall provider (Superwall). We do not store payment information.
Anonymous analytics — Basic usage data (scan count, app opens) to improve the app. No personally identifiable information.

Your location
Your contacts
Your browsing history
Your photos are never stored on our servers

How Photos Are Processed

When you scan an outfit, the photo is sent to our secure server for AI analysis. The photo is processed in real-time and is not saved, stored, or retained after the analysis is complete. We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) for all data transmission.

Third-Party AI Service

Your data is processed by a third-party AI provider:

Provider: SiliconFlow
What is sent: Outfit photos (as images) are sent for AI scoring and style analysis. Chat messages (text only) are sent for AI coach responses. No personal identifiers (name, email, device ID, location, etc.) are ever included.
Models used: Qwen2.5-VL-7B-Instruct (image analysis and style tips) and Qwen3-8B (coach chat).
Data retention: SiliconFlow processes requests in real-time and does not retain user-submitted data beyond the API request lifecycle. Photos and messages are not stored.
Transmission: All data is sent securely via HTTPS through our Supabase backend. No data is sent directly from your device to SiliconFlow.

Before your first scan or coach interaction, the app explicitly asks for your permission to send data to the AI service. You may decline, and no data will be sent.

Other Third-Party Services

Supabase — Serverless backend that routes requests to the AI provider. Privacy Policy

Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission, secure API key management, server-side processing, and input validation. Your outfit photos never touch our database.

Children's Privacy

DRIPSCAN does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your Rights

Since we don't store personal data, there's nothing to delete. Your score history is stored only on your device — delete the app to remove it. To manage your subscription, go to Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions on your iPhone.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with an updated effective date.
